The best source I found for ascorbic acid powder was at my local Vitamin Cottage

healthfood store, but it is not on the their website. I bought a 2.2 lb. jar of

NutriBiotic Ascorbic Acid Crystal Powder there at a very good price. You may do

a Google search and find it online elsewhere.

Hi,

I think they are difficult questions. We've done great with Oil of Oregano

(OO).

We started with the equivalent of at a fraction of a drop for our Eddie (he was

about 4.5yrs then from memory) because we were using a much weaker type of OO.

When we took it ourselves we took just a drop at first. We worked up VERY

SLOWLY over weeks (only taking it 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off) to 1 capsule which

I think contains 4 drops.

I would worry it might be rough and aggrevating on stomach ulcers. I would think

it would be very important to check on this. I wouldn't take it with active

ulcers. Have you been tested for H. Pylori?

Best wishes, Sandy

should I be looking at working up to with a slight 5yo? It says 2 drops in olive

oil on the ingredients is this standard or a diluted form?

treat the bacteria that can cause ulcers but is it ok to take while they're

active? Last thing- did I read somewhere about rubbing it on the soles of your

feet at night and wearing socks to absorb it that way?! Thanks, S

Hi thanks for replying,

no I haven't been tested for H Pylori though I plan to ask the doc to test when

I go in again tomorrow. I'm fairly sure the ulcers were stress induced- started

up when D was starting mainstream last sept!! But meds sorted them out for a

short while before NSAIDs after an operation did a lot of damage, no one warned

me about painkillers and ulcers beforehand :o(

If we did the soles of the feet thing with the OoO would that help the

stomach/gut bugs? Sx
