Get a test of your hormones. Too much estrogen is often a culprit,

and not enough progesterone. Check the testosterone too. Avoid

products that mess with your hormones like the birth control pill.

Avoid sources of xenoestrogens with also greatly mess up the hormone

imbalance and contribute hugely to excessive quantities of

estrogen. I think it's best to avoid soy if it is not fermented.

There is a good article in Alternative Magazine several years ago

about soy, and they probably have articles about xenoestrogens too.

I think that xenoestrogens are found in plastics and pesticides, and

other chemical sources... sorry, I haven't read about that in a

while. Eat only organic foods. Use less meats or dairy, and more

vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. Make sure to use only organic

meat and dairy especially, as they have too many hormones and

pesticides otherwise.

Use important food supplements like fish oil (Carlsons's brand

tastes good) for the omega-3s that you need, and it helps with

inflammation too.

Try some treatments from a good chiropractor. There was an article

in Shape magazine several years ago about endometriosis. They

didn't really know the cause or cure, but they did mention in

passing that the majority (or all, I don't remember?) of the women

in an endometriosis study had a subluxation in the vertebrae in the

lower back that correlates to the uterus.

Test for food allergies. I am doing NAET (Nambudripad Allergy

Elimination Technique) for fibromyalgia. I suspect a good NAET

practitioner could help tremendously with endometriosis. My

practitioner also treats us for chemicals, pesticides, candida, all

sorts of things other than food.

Test for chemicals in your body, like heavy metals . Do lots of

herbal cleanses.

Reduce the stress load on your body in general. Try some gentle

exercise too.

There are two women who work in a health food store here who cured

themselves of endometriosis. It can be done, but you do need to

considerably increase the general health of your body to get there.

Do lots of research into alternative medicine. Conventional

medicine will do nothing for this disease other than do repeat

surgeries that only help temporarily, then eventually they will chop

your uterus out, and take your ovaries too. Don't ever consider

doing that!!!

I think the book by Dr. Lee " What Your Doctor Doesn't Tell You About

Menopause " would contain some very good informatoin about

endometriosis. I read it quite some time ago and it's very very

good. Try to find it at the library or something.
