Guest guest
Deception is the name of the game as many of these articles on ghostwriting prove. There is an old saying, " believe none of what you hear (read) and only half of what you see " unless you can prove it yourself. This applies not only to articles, comments, etc from professionals who are held in high regard due to credentials and associations, but also to alternative medicines and methods as well. Case in point, being just how many " professionals " have differing opinions? Too many on both sides of the coin. There was a doctor who researched ulcers for years and announced at a conference that for years they had all been treating ulcers incorrectly due to the fact that he had discovered every ulcer had the same bacteria, therefore he experimented with antibiotics with positive results. He was black balled, shunned by his peers, articles in medical journals damned him, but he persisted, and it took years, but he won the battle, with proof and help from some other medical mavericks who were willing to help prove or disprove his theory, and doctors and others had to admit he was correct. For years, professionals held in high regard due to affiliations with institutions like the Mayo Clinic, Harvard Medical, Yale, Sloan Kittering and a host of others, slandered this man, and they were wrong. Who wrote those articles? Who are these professionals? Who do they rely on to do the work required for the study? What do we know about them at all? NOTHING. When was the last time you checked into the back ground of an author of a study? How do we know they are honest, truthful, sincere in their efforts? Why does anyone believe what they say? Who is paying them? Is there a conflict of interest? What is the age, health condition, etc of subjects studied? So many of us go about believing things blindly, but are willing to question the work of Dr. and others, when we can inexpensively prove to ourselves, the value of their research. I prefer to hear from those who have tried products and methods that have worked for them, and their testimonials are unpaid and from the heart, mostly because they are written by people who are grateful for the relief they have experienced and want to share what they know. The news media? LOL! They write about ghost writing to 'warn' us about deceptive practices, and these same outlets blast the recent headline " Vitamin E Kills " . Aren't they just as bad a source of information when being manipulated by big pharma in the same way? Food for thought! Guest guest
Hi All, What is interesting to me is that many of the articles sited are several years old. This stuff gets mentioned quite frequently on Canadian shows like The Fifth Estate and Marketplace etc and yet nothing changes and people don't seem upset about this. What I don't understand is why? If this information is freely available to people and they understand the risk they are taking why isn't there more pressure on the powers that be to do something else? Gosh, it's frustrating. I hadn't heard the 98% number before, I had heard that the drugs only work on 40% of people 40% of the time, which makes perfect sense when no two people ever have the exact same set of parasites or toxins, regardless of their diagnosis. Also, I have a question for whoever can answer it!...my aunt in Nova Scotia (I'm from there also) has a daughter in Conneticut (sp?) who says that there is a Dr. clinic in Ontario that she goes to for treatment and to get supplements. Would anyone happen to know of somewhere in Ontario that supplies Dr. supplies and treatments? Can anyone give me a url to get Dr. things in Canada? I have several relatives in N.S I've started on the cleanses and they need to get things closer to home if possible. Have a good day all. Thank you, Jan Washougal, WA (Have my Canadian satelite dish, just waiting for help installing it!)

Guest guest
There is a very active lobbying group in Canada called Friends of Freedom. They are working hard to change the laws. Look them up on a search engine. Leo ------------------------- > Hi All, > > What is interesting to me is that many of the articles sited are several > years old.
