Borax and calcium hydroxide are two different things, borax is 'sodium

borate'. Calcium hydroxide, as far as I know, doesn't clean clothes but it

does disinfect, and I'm trying to find out how to use it as such.

What I mean is that I know that there is a way to 'activate' calcium H, and

use it in laundry. I don't know what that process is, and searched and can't

find anything specific. Thanks Luigi.
