Guest guest
Hi , I am friends with someone who used to be a agent for Arise and Shine products. She and lots of people in my community (including me) have gone on the cleanse. My friend says most of her customers successfully completed the cleanse, felt better afterward, but did say the cleanse wasn't easy! I, however, had a horrible time with the cleanse. I immediately felt sick, continued to keep getting sicker, and couldn't move past the mildest phase. After three weeks I was so sick I had to stop the cleanse. I eventually found out my gallbladder was diseased (probably wasn't in good shape before the cleanse) and I had to have my gallbladder removed. In retrospect I also suspect I was having problems with candida or other fungal infection. Most people do fine, and if you are in reasonably good health to begin with, you should have no problems. But if you do feel sick on the cleanse and it doesn't clear up in a couple days, I would recommend not pushing it -- stay on the milder phases if you have to, or just stop. Don't know about the tea. And I'm not familiar with Jensen's program. Arise And Shine (vs. Jensens vs. ??) So I am about to embark on the one month Arise And Shine bowel / intestinal cleanse. Has anyone here done this? It is very intimidating: one month of essentially nothing but raw fruits and veggies (80% raw minimum) in combination with numerous psyllium and bentonite shakes every day. This derives from the Cleanse And Purify Thyself book that is famous in healing circles. The books author (Andersen) claims almost everyone's diet is too acidic, and that you must return the body to alkaline to scour the muchoid plaque off the intestinal walls. I am eager to reap the benefits of the cleanse, but am scared of the solid month of: no meat, no dairy, so sugar, no salt, no caffeine, no NOTHING. Can I just have one cup of green tea a day? Will that drastically effect the cleanse? And how about Dr. Jensen's Guide to Better Bowel Care - how does his method differ, and has anyone done it? From a review I read, people were seeing stuff within 3 days - sounds quicker than the Arise And Shine. Any advice for a bowel/intestinal cleanse newbie? :-) Thanks! _jason_

Have a good weekend... _jason_
Guest guest
I know you weren't asking me, but I haven't tried that yet. I'd like to b/c I've heard good things about it. If you or anyone else has done both colonix and arise and shine, i'd be very interested in your comparison of the two. thanks, JJ > From: C CG <pixiepie2003@...> > Have you tried colonics? Guest guest
I've done the colonics but not the Arise and Shine. Colonics are wonderful. They changed my life. A colonic is a very gentle water cleansing of the colon to loosen and remove impacted fecal matter. This fecal matter contains toxins which are reabsorbed into the bloodstream and can make a person very, very sick. After a series of colonics, I had many health problems clear up. I am still amazed at the difference. I try to get at least 5 or 6 a year still. Please let us know if you try either colonics or Arise and Shine. --- jennifer.jackson@... wrote: > I know you weren't asking me, but I haven't tried > that yet. Guest guest
Hi there - thanks! I've heard of a cleanse program called 'Colonix' - are you talking about that specific cleanse? or are you talking about getting a colonic at a healthcare place? If you are talking about the latter, can I just ask you - are they really uncomfortable? how long do they take? thanks again, JJ > > From: C CG <pixiepie2003@...> > Date: 2004/07/10 Sat PM 09:42:09 CDT > bowel cleanse > Subject: Re: Re: Arise And Shine (vs. Jensens vs. ??) > > 've done the colonics but not the Arise and Shine.
