Guest guest
Hi!I'm , dd is about to turn 1, and we've been trying to figure out our puzzle since she was about 4 months old.Can I make a suggestion for the files section right off the bat?I've been at this for about 6 months now, and what I've struggled with the most is knowing where to start. Does anyone feel like typing up a little primer on the difference between SCD, GAPS, BED, and all the other diets (and what their purpose is)? I know the basics, but something like that at the beginning of our journey would have been so helpful! And what would be amazingly awesome would be a summary of what sorts of things are signs that you should look into amines or salicyclates or other food chemicals. Like if you're sensitive to X Y and Z but not A B or C, think about Q sensitivity. Or if you're dealing with behavioral issues, definitely think about Feingold. As we're still lost, and I only know very little for certain anymore, I'm starting to think about other diet options. I haven't started researching yet, but It would be nice to have a clue as to where to begin Thank you! And I really hope this list takes off! Well, we do have years of discussions that you could search through, depending on what you are specifically interested in. Also, there are some good websites out there, for example, Gillian Joy's " Overcoming Electrical Sensitivity " website. http://www.electrical-sensitivity.info/ Otherwise, I guess we need to know more specifically what problems you are trying to overcome? Guest guest
I feel ill, tired and my candida symptoms are worse when I am around too much Emf's. I don't really want to overcome this issue just learn how to avoid the sources that are the worse. Is this the wrong group? Guest guest
Hi, Christin,  I am not sure I know what you mean by " overcoming this issue just to learn how to avoid sources which are worse " . Did you mean overcoming candida, or overcoming ES? If you mean either, these are not issues you can avoid, period. Do you also have CFS? CFS is part and parcel of this whole mess, too. We cannot tell you what to do, you have to decide what to do yourself, and somewhat, how to do it. We can guide you as to what to look for. If you are ill and tired, particular things cause ill and tired. Work with what you know. You know you have candida. So work on candida. You *may* not recover fully if you deal with the candida, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't deal with candida. You need to deal with any problems which present themselves. If you don't, you will spiral into worse and worse condition, till you are completely bed-bound. If killing the candida doesn't help, it may mean you have celiac disease or chronic fatigue syndrome, but each of those are treatable. I actually had all 3--candida, celiac disease, and CFS (and more!) I had no choice but to knuckle down and fight. Infact, this is why I often mention celiac disease. It is not a coincidence that I had all 3--celiac disease sets you up for all 3, plus ES and other auto-immune diseases.  I will send you a copy of an email I wrote to someone else, who asked similar questions.  Good luck; persevere and don't give up, Diane/ evie From: Christin Lussier <thomasandchristin@...> Subject: Re: Re: The Basics " " < > Date: Saturday, August 6, 2011, 7:12 PM  I feel ill, tired and my candida symptoms are worse when I am around too much Emf's. Guest guest
Some precautionary measures you can take are provided in http://www.wireless-precaution.com/main/precautions.php These are divided into categories for wireless, electric, broad-spectrum frequencies, and magnetic. Becker's The Body Electric explains how electric fields not only can weaken the immune system, but also foster microorganisms' growth, so to strengthen yourself, you might want to experiment with turning off the circuit breakers for circuits that go to your room or through your room, e.g., the ceiling of the room beneath you. > > I feel ill, tired and my candida symptoms are worse when I am around too much Emf's.
