, I posted this when I first discovered what fibromyalgia was on

I've got to get going or I'll be late for work, but I had a trully

incredible realization this morning. I've been reading post after

post about fibromyalgia. I just looked it up on the arthrits

foundation's web site and guess what. you know it... come on......

its coming... I HAVE IT!!!! my rd missed it. i was reading symptom

after symptom.... check, check, check, yup that too.... " that

explains a lot " i kept saying to myself.

Last year I suddenly got major back pains. upper and lower, from my

head to my butt!!

I've had major muscle spasms all throughout my back.

I've had inexplicable muscle fatigue in my arms and legs and back..

ok... everywhere..... but worst in the legs and arms. i get " dead

legs " if i try a flight of stairs. dr thought it was pinched

nerves. i keep asking " what's wrong with my muscles "

i'm faxing him the article i just read.

Hormonol changes, how about.... i'd say suddenly needing 2-3

additional hours of sleep everynight and losing 18 lbs qualify. i

weigh what i did in high school.

(actually... last week or 2 i suddenly gained back 6-8 lbs or so -

wier eh??) i needed all new clothes, my waist line shrunk 3 inches

my hormones have been screwy since my thyroid went nuts anyway.

illness such as flu - how about a few low grade fevers that last for

weeks on end??????

emotional trauma..... read any of my other posts????

in the last year i've been prescribed muscle relaxers, physical

therapy for my back and shoulder (it likes to pop out of the socket -

hits nerves - OUCH!!!!!), xanax, valium, prozac and weeklys' with a

shrink.

and i quote from the article " nervous system symptoms include changes

in mood and thinking that may include depression, anxiety, difficulty

in concentration. It also involves feelings of numbness and tingling

in hands, arms, feet and face. Migraine headaches, abdominal

pain..... " <--- as i said... it explains a lot!!!!

I'm sure many people on this list have been in a position when you

just had to keep asking.... just tell me whats wrong with me!!! why

do i feel this way?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
