It's not that difficult to get in enough fiber, if you are choosing good foods.

25 grams a day is not that hard. Choose a good high-fiber cereal for breakfast,

perhaps tunsa on fiber crackers for lunch, bean and ham soup (good protein and

fiber) and fresh veggies and fiber-containing fruits. And commit to 8-10 glasses

of fluids a day. Add a few prunes daily as a snack, or raisins with the cereal.

Sure, you can take benefiber, but it is expensive, and whole foods are always

better - and also will fill you with good band foods. Sandy RN

Help. I am not getting enough fiber. Can I take Beneful or Fibercon

chewables? I am also having a hard time getting all eight glasses of

water in (I know this would help). Any suggestions??
