Keep your chin up! (bad pun) It takes a very long time for a fusion to heal,

when I was healthier I worked with fusion patients, it took so long for

things to settle down. Even after the bone and tissue is considered healed,

nerves take a long time to settle down. Muscle spasms can and do produce

severe pain and odd symptoms, sometimes drugs just don't relieve them and a

good PT can. I'm your age and have it all just different, HNP's, asthma,

drug allergies, PA and on and on. I wish I had some bit of wisdom or

encouragement to offer you, all I can say is to hang in there! I have all

the sympathy in the world for you, others, and myself who struggle every day

just to keep going.
