Hi all, thanks for reading..... My 5 year old Severe ASD daughter has

been GF/CF/SF/ all natural, organic for 2 years now, she also tested

positive for oranges, eggs and sugar cane. She does not eat choclate,

or any junk food, she loves her soup, fruit, veggies, beans, nuts and

meat, she does not refuse any food that is offered. The only problem is

that although her stools and gastro issues have resolved, she has not

shown any improvments in cognition or language.....should we take out

corn and rice?? She used to have all the horrible gas and bloating and

rashes 5-8 liquid acidic BM /day...that is all gone....should we keep

eliminating foods to see if her behavior and cognition improve?? Please

help...we are trying B12 valtrex, diflucan, enzymes, CLO, SNT a lot of

supplements but she is still withdrawn...no language and well just

not " with us " I am feeling a bit discouraged...

You mention SF, I assume soy free. Beans are part of the legume family,

hence soy.

I feel your pain. You are definitely on the right track. It could be some puzzle

pieces are still missing. I am not so knowledgable as other members in this

group. But want to provide my two cents. Have you tried to detox her, e.g.

sauna, ALA, or classic chelation, etc? Have you tried homeopathy?

What my son needed for language is written here

When I removed corn and rice, and added back wheat with HNI enzymes,

my son noticeably improved.

At my house, liquid acid bm meant my son ate something orange, which

was caused by a carotene conversion problem. Enzymes did not help

that problem, but ALA chelation and several supplements did.

>>should we keep

> eliminating foods to see if her behavior and cognition improve??

It was not helped that much by foods/removals at my house.
