Guest guest
How arrogant is that doctor not letting you have a medicine that you need? It is not a dangerous hormone by any stretch and especially if taken with normal care. They dispense dangerous drugs as if they were candy then get the wobbles when it comes to natural hormone replacement! And these people have some of our brightest minds? Go figure! Re: mono I suspect a good number of us, have had a viral exposure at one time that contributes to our poor metabolic function. I had scarlet fever, mono as a child, and now hep c. My younger brother, who is also being treated for thyroid problems recently found out that he too has hep c. I believe my youngest brother does too, just by looking at him, but he hasnt been tested yet. My mother is going to get tested now to see if she may have passed it on to us. (she has had thyroid issues for years, and a great deal of cardiovascular difficulty, primarily plaque) It is suspected that I got it at age 13 when I had my appendix out, but who can be sure. There is a man I work with who has had trouble with his thyroid function, and now diabetes who found out two years ago that he too has Hep C. This explains why T4 alone does not help me much..I obviously have a conversion problem because of my liver. My doctor however will not let me have any T3. She believes it to be too dangerous. Considering many viruses lay dormant in us for many years, it is possible that many of us could have them and not know.

Guest guest
Seems like you have nothing to lose by trying the treatments outlined in Dr. 's protocols. Obviously your son has parasites, and doctors aren't looking for them. Parasites include lurking virus and stealth virus and even tiny worms/larvae. Read Dr. s books, get a zapper and keep us posted on his progress. Good luck! PS with those prayers be sure to read the Bible, especially the promises. Elena Tate <elenadiane@...> wrote: Anyone... Guest guest
Elena, You should have your son checked for heavy metals. Mercury can come from many places as well as amalgams, and other metals, such as aluminum are common problems. Exposure to toxic chemicals from cosmetics, cleaners, glues, paints, etc. can cause a buildup that will in fact create similar symptoms to what your son is dealing with. I have to wonder if the diagnosis of Mono was correct in the first place and exactly why they believed it was mono. Could there have been a mistake in the diagnosis? Could he have been exposed to chemicals at the time he got ill, such as pesticides on lawns, overspray from farms, toxins from smokestacks, swimming in a polluted river, mold, etc? I think you need to look outside of that diagnosis, and you need to have some testing done on your son for heavy metals and possibly flouride poisoning if you have fluoridated water. Sometimes the combination of items considered safe as a single element, can create havoc. Another issue that has hit the news lately is Benzene in soda and bottled water. A build up of this chemical can cause many neurological disorders. In the meantime, please read Dr. s books and do the parasite cleanse exactly as directly and the complete protocol for colon cleansing and liver cleansing. Mono is a disease of the liver, but it must be caused because the liver is reacting to a toxin, and it sounds as if that toxin never left your son's body. You may never find the exact cause of your son's symptoms, but by doing the cleanses, reducing exposure to chemicals and removing heavy metals, he could get much bettter, and continuing the protocols may get rid of the issue all together. I have just started to use a product called Vitacel, because my carpel tunnel has gotten pretty bad lately. It's only been a few days, but the pain is lessening slightly. I can't recommend this product just yet because I don't know how well it will work, but it was recommended to me by someone who had such severe knee pain he could barely walk (he used to install carpets and destroyed his knees in the process). He said it has been quite helpful to him and he feels long term use will get rid of the problem. http://www.cellhealthmakeover.com/home.html Also, there is another product that I can highly recommend called " Megahydrate " . I find this product gets right into the cells and detoxifies them quickly while allowing them to take in more water and oxygen. I have taken as many as six at a time with no side effects because it is perfectly safe, but you can tell it is detoxifying your body by the odors from eliminations, the tastes in your mouth and the nasal passages. It is also great for inflammation which should help your son with the pain he is feeling. http://www.phisciences.com/faq.html (I am comparing the Vitacel to the Megahydrate to see which is better for certain conditions because they are different components). I know the megahydrate will help my carpel tunnel. Good luck to you. I know it must make you feel helpless to not be able to get your son well. Hopefully, with the cleansing and testing for toxins and metals, you can get to the cause of his pain. Diane Elena Tate wrote: >Nope. Therapy for mono is not too different than any other viral attack. IMMUNE TONICS: Get rolling with the blender drinks, fat smoothies and green juices. (SEE FILES) Get with all the immune vitamins and minerals in the FILES Get a full dose of Echinacea going (go to Present Moment for the best) Get your Bee Propolis going Figure out the STRESS PATTERN underneath this condition Read what LOUISE HAY says about the metaphysical underpinnings of mono. Guest guest
Amazing how some of our stories are so similar. I had mono in college 1970 (the doctor said it was the flu, but later in life I tested positive for EBV/mono and that was when I was really sick). I had tired/CFS issues before that but this increased it. Guess I've always been type A and type B but didn't know it. Just our family always did lots of things and was involved in helping others growing up. Also had food allergies forever but not addressed until 1975, then again in 2003 where I have been pretty good about following my allergy diet more regularly so I don't suffer setbacks. Stress? Yes, some of us have more than others, and it affects some of us more than others. I feel like I have been in flight or fight for so many years!!! Since 2001 we have lost 11 family members on hubby's side. Along with that, had to sort and move all the belongings of four households plus manage our own. All our free time was spent taking care of them, now I've lost my husband over it. Our son got into alcohol and marijuana, which caused/causes a lot of stress in the family unit. Hubby's company just got sold after working there 16 years and the new bosses are pushers and movers; hubby is melancholic/phlegmatic so doesn't do well with lots of change, especially aggressive issues. His family is all deceased, father just this past January, now he is going through mid-life crisis, found another woman on Tagged chat and after two months of knowing HER is having an affair and wants to be with her and not me. After all we've been through, thought he was supportive, SHE is telling him all the sweet things we used to when first together and he feels worthy now, which is something I could not seem to give him cuz you have to get it yourself. He has low self-esteem and is first time feeling good in a long time about himself. Aw, the honeymoon phase. I am shattered. Always thought he was supportive of me and just learning he isn't. SHE says this and SHE says that, now he doesn't believe I hurt all over because I can do deep-tissue massage therapy. SHE has had lots of health issues but is still going strong~duh, so am I. I don't know if I am going to get to keep him or not through this, and I do want him. HE doesn't get that we have sexual issues because we hurt so much all over, plus it diminishes our libido, etc. I refuse to give in to the lies, but he is believing the lies. Satan is alive and well and trying to take down the family units~mine at the moment. I was so looking forward to our lives now that son is in college and his family is deceased and we could reconnect~he's reconnecting with someone else. Am I jealous and angry, too. Now I have to decide whether I work more and kill myself sooner, or stay the same and suffer financially for My future, which is shorter now than I thought. I am 55 so have 10 more years in the workplace. Was working 1-3 days a week and maintaining, now working 5+ days a week while co-worker out with breast cancer issues, having to decide to continue 20-30 hours a week versus the 15-20 which was best for me. Thanks for listening to me rant. I am SO stressed. Was supposed to have vacation next week and now he wants to be with HER and not me, so what do I get to do. Guest guest
no guru here, but here are some ideas: Monolaurin is supposed to be beneficial (300mg 2-6 capsules in split doses). Vit D status is critical, so if she hasn't been supplementing Vit D and hasn't been sunbathing or exposed regularly start with 5k/day. Bigger picture, eat whole and natural and get away from processed foods, especially grains. Get plenty of good fats, try coconut oil. If sleep has been a problem melatonin may be of benefit. If she is young good diet is really a HUGE challenge with peer pressure at work. And of course, lots of rest! Guest guest
Years ago, my daughter was diagnosed with a severe case of mono. Down with the count. My FIRST chiropractor, one of the 'old guys with the shiny eyes' gave me a recommendation. He sent me to a 'health food store' to buy a particular form of powdered Vit C. He said to give her thousands of mg of this Vit C in water (to bowel tolerance) until the bottle was empty. We started her on the Vit C. Offered to purchase a second bottle for her boyfriend who was also very sick with mono. Boyfriend's family said no thanks, his grandfather was an MD and they would take care if 'their way'. My daughter recovered in about a week. Felt great, never looked back. It was astonishing. Boyfriend was very sick for about 3 months... TRUE STORY. Now, the caveat is that I was pretty naive in those days and can't recall what soft of VIT C powder was recommended. Perhaps Sunny??? Or someone can shed some light on this? And of course, the Vit D and Monolauren would also be great. Ann DC RE: Mono Okay you nutritional gurus out there. My daughter was just dx with mono. What should I be supplementing her with? J. Guest guest
's thought are right on .... although I'd add liquid or powdered calcium for sleep rahter than melatonin .... we are finding it much more effective for a prolonged good night's sleep. And don't forget microcurrent: Carolyn has a fabulous (!!!!!) viral protocol that knocks 'em out a the park .... it is a 60 minute protocol - she might need 2 or 3 treatments but you may be surprised at how quickly it hleps. MD basically told my daughter and her mom there wasn't anything to be done medically and rightfully so. They are not the experts. Already increased the Vit D and C and will now look closely at the Biogenesis Larrea. Thanks again...time to kick some viral butt. J. Guest guest
I'd also be looking at her diet for the fix. Blood tests might show something also - low Vit D, B vits, iron, thyroid? Going on a good paleo diet (grain, dairy, legume free) for 30 days while supplementing with Vit D & fish oil is a great way to balance a lot of these possible issues. She came to me for her extreme fatigue due to Mono, which she contracted in October 2010. She lifts weights 3x/week, plays basketball, and has a busy active life, but she has nowhere near the energy to get through her days like she used to a few years ago.Everything I have read suggests that her fatigue should be gone by now. Does anyone have experience with this? Also, any suggestions on diagnosis codes to bill adjustments to her insurance? Thanks,MattDr. Matt FreedmanChiropractic PhysicianPure Life Chiropractic, LLC315 West Broadway Suite 100Eugene, Oregon 97401(541) 343- 5633http://www.EugeneChiropractic.comhttp://www.EugeneHyperbaric.com
