Enzymedica's Digest Gold is a great digestive enzyme that has helped

many parents on this group. GlutenEase is also a good with to use as

a " safety net " if you go out to eat. If you would samples or

Just being curious here, why don't they just put the DPPIV in Digest Gold???

Hi ,

A product as potent as DigestGold with DPP-IV activity would be very

expensive. But we are working on a new line of products specifically

for children affected with Autism. When that comes out, it will have

some truly amazing and wonderful products. I can't wait for them to

come out because it will be so beneficial.

Actually, following directions from enzymestuff.com, I am using

Digest Gold as a comprehensive formula and the AFP peptyzide

(protease) I am adding separate gradually to each meal for my son for

leaky gut.

I too have been there. When my kids started their individualized

nutrition program they were GF/CF, no soy , no dairy, no eggs, no

sugar, no nuts, no preserbvatives or artificial dyes. We switched

to Rice milk and any rice based product. They make rice based pasta

by Tinkyada that is pretty good. Just read the labels and check out

the Gluten free section in your health food store. Basically you

eat meat, chicken, fish, plenty of vegetables, two fruit a day and

rice or rice based pasta. We have been eating that way for 17

weeks, my kids get more than enough to eat and I and my husband have

lost 10 pounds. My kids behaviors have improved greatly and my son

is now off his ADHD meds and my daughter has cut hers in half.

My pediatrician ordered quite a few tests, but the food sensitity

test was the IGG. I would also havet he IGE done as well.

Thank you for giving me a little more confidence in doing this. If I

could get to eat a vegetable perhaps I wouldn't feel like such

a terrible mother! :-)

I was wondering if in addition to the diet have you used enzymes with

your children?

Yes my kids are on Permaclear and Similase. They are also on Biotin

and other vitamins and homeopathic meds. These are part of the

whole nutrition porgram designed by the nutritionist/naturopath. It

has been extra work on my part but now that my kids are off the

stimulants and doing ok, it has been worth it!
