A plasticy smell could be that he is detoxing, out of urine and

sweat. Who knows what kinds of toxic sludge comes out of kids,

especially if you have the hair test that shows heavy metals in the

child...sometimes detoxing can smell like any number of chemicals. My

son sometimes smells like a casket, and I sometimes just get this

smell that is just bad..I just call it the detox smell. I slow down

the detox process when this happens to lesson the smell. I drink more

water. I have found that chlorophyll works well on taming odors

coming from the body like that.

I wouldn't discount the smell could also be from the infected tooth.

When you get the tooth dealt with, the smell could go away. He might

need some kind of antibiotic if the infection has spread to his entire

body. I use echinachea as a natural antibiotic. I would mention the

bandaid smell to the dentist.
