Is that why both are reccomended? > > -Lana > Hi Lana, I've just started looking into adrenal and thyroid issues, as well as reproductive hormone balancing. I found the Natural Thyroid Hormone, and Natural Thyroid Hormone Adrenals helpful. A couple months ago, I did the saliva test and blood spot thyroid test from www.canaryclub.org. That was a good idea. I thought my problems were mostly adrenals, but my labs revealed low thyroid. The gland systems are interconnected, so one system out of balance can drag down the others. I also found the book " Feeling Fat, Fuzzy or Frazzled " (hate the title) helpful for an overview of a complicated subject. The authors have a self-test in the book you can fill out and try to guess which gladular system needs help (adrenal, thyroid or reproductive). The authors suggest that patients follow up with lab work to confirm the self-test, as symptoms can overlap. The lab results will help you choose what steps to take next. There are also lots of suggestions in the book for OTC support. in Illinois
