Lysine killed plantar warts???

My son had horrible warts on his feet--warts on top of warts on his toes,

etc. He started taking Lyseine for improved language--didn't see any progress

there. One day I noticed all of his plantar warts were gone--poof!--I was

just mystified. I think it must have been the Lyseine--it took a while, but I

do think it did eliminate the warts.

I'm wondering if anyone has used oral L-Lysine to kill warts on feet?

My son had a large plantar's wart on the ball of his feet. One also

appeared on his little toe. I tried using salicylic acid (Compound W

like stuff) for a few weeks which made no difference. I wasn't too

good at applying it daily, though.

Last month I also started using 500 mgs L-Lysine in addition to our

OLE to see if I could get another language boost. Didn't really get

that, but 4 days ago I was able to take my fingernail and easily pop

both warts off my son's foot. They had just dried up. I never even

applied the salicylic acid to the wart on his little toe and I hadn't

used salicylic acid during the time I used Lysine.

Any connection? Lysine kills HPV?

It eliminated lots of warts in various places on the body for several

of my family members. Including plantar's warts for me.

Yes, lysine kills that virus. HSV-2 I think it is. But that's good.

The salicyclic acid did nothing for anyone in my family either. WE

put it on like a religon, the warts would hurt like the dickens,

peel and look almost gone but dern it all, grow back with a vengence.

Andy says in his book for people with wart problems to take Lysine.

Where do I get some of this??? My 7 year old has had a plantar's

wart on her heel since she was 3. Nothing removes it!! Where can I

buy it online and how much should she take? She weighs about 55lbs.

I bought the L-Lysine at The Vitamin Shoppe. You can get it lots of

places. I used 500 mgs/day for my 50lb son.

It's an amino acid you should be able to get it at the HFS.

It's not expensive either.

I'm going to get some Lysine too, i have plantar warts on my feet,

keep going to podiatrist and they keep coming back, oh, maybe they

will finally be gone.
