Guest guest
Hello again,I forgot to include my son's interest's are any kind of technology, video games, computer games or anything to do with technology...My son also loves dog's, Golden retriever's are his favorite. My daughter loves dog's too Dachshund's and stuffed animals. They also love to sing, and are both in the choir at church. my son can act up sometimes so he doesn't always sing. Both my children cling to me like toilet paper and don't have friends. I hope they will open up to friends soon, they are really nice and the kids take advantage of them. We refuse him movies and games with shooting and fighting, he'll mimick them at school towards kids and teachers. He has an awesome memory so I'd love to get him started playing piano soon. Loves to draw just before bedtime. Prefers pencil only drawings, very detailed and shaped pictures, usually what he's seen. Our daughter 10 is more reserved and prefers to be left alone but craves friendships. She loves to draw expressively. Draws mainly ballerina stick girls, colorful with lots of facial and body expressions. Manga, anime...I think you have a great idea ... I hope everyone will send in their info... it could be the start of something great! Toni ( ) Where are we all from? Please include in your repost! I have posted this before but didn't get much response. I think we would all have to agree that most if not all of our children have social issues. They have a hard time making friends with children their own age because of how wonderfully, special they are and no one understands that. So I propose that the huge group we are (in between our other posts for help)post where we are from (town and state-not address-lol-don't need any stalkers) whether we have a boy or girl, their ages and maybe special interests(you know they have them-my 13 year old son loves Pokemon). Maybe we can create a local network of other parents and children so that maybe our children can form friendships with other children that they have things in common with and the parents can support each other at the same time. So what do you say? Everyone shout out. If your post doesn't include your email then include it. We can begin by emailing each other and go from there. Don't let me down. Before Katrina they special ordered her Lithium for us but stopped it with Katrina. If there are a lot of expenses they have that are not covered or have copayments then there is another program attached to the EFMP. I can't remember off the top of my head what it is but I could look it up for you. Re: ( ) Where are we all from? Guest guest
There is also a fun book called "The Awesome Egyptians" by Terry Deary. It's part of the Horrible Histories series. started reading the series when he was 6, and loved it. My daughter started reading them when she was 11, and she loved them too. They're ageless, hugely funny and well written. We used to read them out loud on the sail boat, because they took reluctant sailors' minds off the tippiness of the boat. It's hard to worry when you're roaring with laughter. LizOn Nov 28, 2007, at 2:53 PM, Willa Hunt wrote:The Egypt loving kids might enjoy the book _the Egypt Game_ byZilpha Keatley Snyder.
