Viral Rash vs. Allergy Rash

How can you tell the difference between a viral and allergy rash.

Also I have been giving my 5 year old 54 pound son 1 liquid capsule of

OLE (250 mg) 1x a day for viral issues. I'm planning to increase that

to 1 liquid capsule 2x a day.

How much is recommended in terms of dosaging for a child this

age/weight? He has been on 1 capsule 1x a day for 2 weeks.

When I increase him to 2x a day -- I'm assuming I would make no other

changes for 2 weeks to see if there is any type of reaction, right?

At what point do I add in another anti-viral i.e. Virastop and what

dosage would be his maintenance dosage for OLE?
