Guest guest Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Well, we had our appt. with the Pediatric Endocrinologist yesterday, and while he agreed to repeat the testosterone level along with other markers, he did not see ANY signs of precocious puberty. The downy hair on the back & hair growing on the scrotum were normal, in his opinion. The Geiers are talking about seeing precocious puberty, and in my son the physical signs are not there. I did ask the doctor what it would mean if the level still comes back high. He did acknowledge a possible binding & couldn't rule out mercury as the culprit. But he still said he wouldn't use Lupron in that instance.
