Michele,

I have given Candex every night, every night, for 2 years as part of my

daughters yeast program. It is a constant. The problem is making sure I

can give it 2 hours afer dinner, ie bfore bed, with 8ozs of water. It

has consistently helped, not resolved but helped. My daughter has

immuno problems which makes defeating yeats very difficult.

I usually give the nystatin after dinner, then awhiel layer, a

probiotic, and then the candex at bed.

Nystatin after meals helps the best here

I'm very new to this group and have a question. I have so much to

learn. We haven't even started enzymes yet, but I think we'll

definitely be starting them soon. My daughter is 2 1/2 and we have

been GFCF for a little over a month. We saw gains with her behavior

right away, skin cleared up, and stools became firmer, and she was

sleeping through the night. A few weeks later the eczema was back and

the stools were soft, and now she is waking up at 2, 3, or 4 in the

morning. Sometimes she gets up twice. I made her GFCF bread with

yeast a few weeks ago and I think that may have really bothered her.

She ate quite a bit for 4 days in a row and then we took her off it

when we started to notice the symptoms. This was over 2 weeks ago- but

all the systems persist. Here is my question- if I put her on

nystatin, will that allow her to eat bread made with yeast? Thanks,

This sounds like new food intolerance. Do you give her soy, corn, or

phenol foods? Those are common problems

Enzymes can be helpful.

Depends on if the yeast in the bread is contributing to yeast

overgrowth issues, or if she simply does not tolerate the yeast

itself, which Nystatin won't help.
