Guest guest Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 Hi, What is the best way to give enzyme and probiotics thus they don’t “eat” each other. I give all supplements to my 3 year old daughter with juice in the bottle, she will not take otherwise. I heard that you should not mix enzyme and probiotics together because they will neutralize each other. For now, I ether give her enzyme (Peptizide) with juice before meal or probiotics with juice before meal. Both of them should be given right before meal. Is their any way to give them both? Thanks, Quote

You might want to check with your suppliers to find out if the enzymes you are using will affect the probiotics you are using. Some probiotics are given on an empty stomach, others are given about 30 minutes after meals. Which type are yours? >>For now, I ether give her enzyme (Peptizide) with juice before meal or probiotics with juice before meal. Both of them should be given right before meal. Is their any way to give them both? Many people give the enzyme just before the meal, and the probiotic just after the meal. This often works, so you can try it if you want. See if it works for your child. Dana Quote
Guest guest Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Just curious... would the No-Fenol enzyme, and Virastop enzyme work against the probiotics as well? My son takes all 3 Houston enzymes as well as a ton of other supps. I try to give Virastop first thing in the am on an empty tummy, but I have also had great results giving the No-Fenol and probiotics before breakfast as well. It's tough enough trying to get all the supplements my son needs in him, let alone making sure one doesn't cancel out the other. Argh! Thanks for any thoughts on this.
