Selena,

What a coinkedink!! Dr Buttar will be speaking this weekend at the Washington DC

DAN! conference but I believe his topic will be chelation. It's a special last

minute arrangement for him so I'm hoping I can see him while I am there. Is

anyone else from this list attending. Thanks for the tip, I'll try to google

him and Neubrander.

Buttar is doing a lot IV Chelation as well as other treatments with older

kids. Uroterapy is new one for example for immune system, and there are all

kinds of report, both ways. Some kids do great with him and some don't do as

well at lest for quite sometime. I have been lurking on TD-DMPS site for 9

months or more with minimal participation as we are not chelating yet. It is

great to research him and go listen to him. He is very bright and charismatic.

Another great hope for older kids is Amy Yasko. She is too very expensive but

so is Buttar. She is at least as brilliant if not far more.

Before being impressed with the brilliance of these doctors, research both to

see which one resonate the most. I am sure your son will do great either way

as he seems a responder but it is best to know all the treatment modalities

and options.

The research in biomed and autism is just not where it used to be. Though we

are at the tip of the iceberg, it has come a long way since perhaps your son's

dx. Yet parents are responsible to not only research the supplements, but the

new treatment modalities.

My neighbor who I just met has a 13 year old sweet and delightful autistic

daughter and I am helping her get back on biomed and newer protocols for older

kids seem very promising at last...Buttar, Yasko and others.

Keep it up. The options and hope for full recovery is just growing. The

financial resources are a problem as these are only for financially privileged

but I would go in debt before giving up.

Best and keep the good reports coming, we all need to hear them.

also try to find Stan Kurtz at the conference

and ask him about recovered older kids and who you can

contact from there for a start on your path. Hope this

helps.
