Guest guest
My son appears to be sensitive to high phenol foods. I have searched and searched, but I cannot find what concentration is considered to be high. I know that just about everything contains phenols and that there are certain foods to avoid, but I would like to know a number value of what is considered to be high. Thank you. Guest guest
The Feingold people say their list of foods to avoid includes the ones that cause the most problems, and they aren't necessarily the ones with the highest phenol levels, FWIW. Guest guest
Also, according to Feingold people, the cumulative effect can be a problem, not just any one food. So you might be able to tolerate some of the foods in limited quantities, but not all at once. Check out their website for more information: www.feingold.org in NJ > > My son appears to be sensitive to high phenol foods.
