Guest guest
Hi All, Last June, my sons hair test indicated he was very low in magnesium. We increased his mag supplements to 100 mgs 4x a day. We immediately had improvements in sleep and muscles twitchings. Early in December, he started having loose stools. I thought it could be yeast or bacteria. We have treated for both. We have also treated for parasites. To no avail, we sill have very loose stools. We just got a stool analysis back and it showed that yeast was fairly in check and bacteria was gone. We have some items that showed as imbalance and his lactobacillius was a little low but his bifido bacteria was good. So, it has me thinking that maybe his magnesium is causing the loose stools. Could he now be fully loaded with Magnesium after 6 months of higher doses??? Is that possible? Also, I know we need to keep the magnesium up a little as we are chelating. Does anyone know how you can tell if you are back to a normal level of a mineral once you were seriously deficient. Thanks for any guidance!
