Guest guest Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Hi, all. I've searched, but can't find info on how frequently to dose the vitamin A for the 2-day high vitamin A protocol (which I started today for myself). I thought maybe it would be an easier impact on my body to split the 40,000 IU into 2 doses, so I just took half, so far. Any thoughts? Thanks! --Lalita Quote
Guest guest Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 The dose is 400,000 iu and not 40,000 iu. I have done it for myself just to test it as I actually got the real measles and not the vaccine and am very doubtful that I need this intervention. It caused me a bit of hyperness and a slight accelerated heart beat for abut an hour each day. I do think it is a good Idea to test everything on ourselves before giving to our children. For my son, I divided the dose to two 200,000 iu one in the morning and one at noon. He tolerated it well and no negatives except he had a very happy and hyper days. Hyper in a totally delightful way. The gains were great and I kept waiting in the following days for them to go away but fortunately they stayed. He is 32 lb, most of which is height. Guest guest Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Thanks, Haleh! Silly me! (I did know it was 400,000, but forgot at the critical moment!) I just took more, and will have my second dose tonight. (And this means I have to go to the health food store tonight to get tomorrow's dose. . .) Thanks again--you were extremely helpful, and I really appreciate it! It is usually recommended to give it as one dose, or no more than two doses per day. >> I thought maybe it would be an easier impact on my > body to split the 40,000 IU into 2 doses, so I just took half, so > far. 400,000 IU per day.
