Hi Anita, Our red flags are her stools and behavior. She loves spinach, carrots and many other colorful fruits and veggies, but her stools become rock-hard or loose and full of undigested food. Her behavior deteriorates. She also tries to eat those foods to the exclusion of all others. Once we remove them, she starts to eat and request other food and her stools return to normal. As we chelate we do food challenges. She can now tolerate an orange every other day. We use SCD versions of some supplements, but notice the same trend with her stools and behavior. For example, I've tried several versions of Vitamin C but the result has always been the same. Folinic acid (behavior) and Nuthera (stool and behavior) are supplements which we keep revisiting, but haven't been able to use for more than a week. She can't even tolerate the supplements that some recommend to overcome PST issues. I think that my daughter will have to undergo more chelation before she can tolerate most foods and supplements. I wish I had the answers, but I do have faith that we'll all get through this together. May God bless you and all our families in 2007!
