DMSA dosing??

Hello; my 5 years old son has been doing almost 2 years with some

period of interuption for candida infection; he is 17kg; and takes

150mg every 8 hours for 3 days and 11 break.

our DAN doctor told us to use only 100mg every 8 hours for 3 days

every week and 4 days break...

has anyone used this protocoll??? I am worried that it may lower his

Zinc... any suggestion will be appreciated.

I'm going to blow your mind even further. This protocol is not recommended, too

high doses of the chelator and given too infrequently. Read the files on this

board to find out why it's recommended to dose the chelators at just 1/4-1/2 mg

per lb, every 4 hours around the clock.

I too would worry that this much dmsa would pull zinc, this is a ton of dmsa way

more than is necessary and carries the risk of lots of side effects. Using the

above formula works out to only between 9-18 mgs of dmsa every 4 hours. Check my

math, please.

The protocol you're following is moving mercury INTO his brain, please consider

using Andy Cutler's protocol before you cause more damage. I'm an adult

weighing about 120# and use a lower dose than you're using....If you're trying

to chelate mercury, at some point you'll need to use ALA to get it out of the

brain.
