Guest guest Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 I have been using on my son TD-DMSA (250 mg) using the 3/11 cycle for over a year. Over a month ago, I tried just ALA orally (25 mg) for a month and loved what changes we have seen so I have been giving him just ALA - every weekend. I want to add in oral DMSA with the ALA, as my son has lead issues. My question is, my son weighs 160 lbs (11 years old). Would it be ok to give 25 mg. DMSA and 25 mg. ALA for a total of 50 mg. every 3 hours? My son can swallow pills so I don't want to get into having to divide up capsules or try to get him to take it mixed into something. Another thought I had was to give DMSA on one weekend and ALA on another weekend. Is it ok to alternate chelators every other weekend. I don't mind alternating weekends between the two if the 50 mg seems to be too much. I suppose I could give it a try and see how it goes. Any input/experiences are greatly appreciated. Thanks. - Quote
