Guest guest
HI , Thanks for the input. Do you have personal experience with the adrenal/thyroid issue. If so, I would like to ask a couple questions based on the following reactions to previous interventions: I tried the following one at a time: Tried increasing selenomethionine by 12.5mcg which knocked me off my feet(fatigue/heart palpitations/tachycardia, low BP, etc.) Tried taking more Armour, but when I increased dose above 3/4 grains I broke in hives all over. I've also tried digestive enzymes with even more disastrous results. Face swelled up/eyes swelled closed/skin peeled off face and eyelids/and triggered systemic joint/ligament/tendon inflammation which never completely resolved after stopping the enzymes. I am a bit hesitant to try digestive enzymes again. It's not that I am not willing to try some of these things again as chelation progresses, but I would prefer to try something I've not tried before that met with months of misery. I've cut out all cruciferous vegetables which have a negative effect on thyroid, I am on the SCD diet to help with IBD and digestion. If you or someone else has other suggestions regarding the thyroid/adrenal/digestion issues, PLEASE let me know. Gladioli > > > > The following is the result of my most recent hairtest. Guest guest
I apologize for snooping on your post, I also have suppressed thryoid and adrenal function. I am interesting in what products could help that. Natural ones that is. I do not have a doc to prescribe any Armour. My holistic one said if my thyroid did not kick back up on it's own within a year of amalgam removal then I would need to try some support. But my thyroid has been low for a few years now from the mercury, and as you ladies can sympathize...this stinks! My 11 yr daughter also has adrenal problem from mercury. So interesting in any suggestions too. Again. sorry to butt in! > > > > > > The following is the result of my most recent hairtest. Guest guest
I have only skimmed these posts, so I apologize if I have missed something, but here are some of my experiences: I and my oldest child have been taking a product for adrenal support called Plus (from Mannatech). A few weeks ago, I finally found coconut oil which was recommended to me for gut issues by Sharon (son?) on this list. My son and I both require less adrenal support since we started taking coconut oil as a supplement. I bought both the oil and capsules. The capsules are very convenient but I am also trying the oil (taking a spoonful of it) because I have been told that the capsules are somewhat less effective than the oil. My son has gotten completely off of digestive enzymes by taking sea salt and avoiding yeast in his diet and it seems the coconut oil was " the final nail in the coffin " on needing any digestive enzymes. I am now using up our remaining digestive enzymes as an antiviral protocol because I mostly no longer need them for digestion either.
