Hi All,

We just got the results of our Radon test of our home back today and

we measured 6.2 (out of 10). Anything over 4 is considered too high

so I know we need to take care of this. Also, when we did my son's

hair test, uranium was in the red for him. Everything I have read

indicates that Radon causes lung cancer. What other damage does it

do? Any neurological damage? We have been chelating following

Andy's protocal for about 12 rounds now. Based upon urine toxic

metals test, my son is excreting a fair amount of mercury and lead.

We are seeing some improvments, but no big WOW's. Is the Radon

contributing to the problem? I have 2 kids. My son is almost 4,

diagnosed with PDD-NOS and probably apraxia. My daughter is 2 1/2

and so far doesn't appear to fall on the spectrum, however, she has

an expressive language delay and it appears that it also could be

apraxia? Any link between apraxia and the radon? I'm just trying

to piece this all together and come up with a plan. We are planning

to have our soil tested soon just to see what other problems we may

have.

Thanks for any guidance!

From what I am reading radon gas is the result of uranium breaking

down in the earth. It releases this gas which gets into your

basement. Since your son has high uranium..I smell something fishy

here. This would make it likely that his high uranium is comming

from home, the yard. Is your home new, or older. What is your

community like industrial wise? What types of industry were there

before you? I too have high uranium. I think I got it as a kid

because I lived near a lake that is contaminated with it.

Apparently, a uranium mining/storage company and some power plants

that used uranium were all on this lake. I swam in it and our

drinking water comes from it. Are you on a well? Put the kids on

bottled water if they are not already. It is possible that the land

in your area has natural uranium deposits too. Do you live in any of

these regions: Eastern border of Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey

and southern New York? The problem with radon gas is that your

breathing radiation. I am sure that must do something

neurologically. I cannot find any information on what it does. No

one seems to have any information on neurological aspects only the

lung cancer aspect. But if nothing else, it is depriving your son of

oxygen, and that alone could be bad for his brain. Mainly, it would

seem logical that any toxin is not good for growing children. This

could be a factor.
