It usually takes some rounds before yeast gets going, then it gets bad for awhile (comes early in the round and takes a lot of antifungal to calm it down), and eventually eases up. You'll get to know your kid's pattern as it develops. > > Thanks for your support and I must say this has been a stressfull > day for me since I am doing this for the first time and I am very > scared. I don't know [my son was mineral toxic and never required mineral supplementation] but I would suspect that giving the minerals at the midpoint might be more beneficial. > 2.Can I use an antifungal like diflucan or amphotericin B during the > on days? > 3.If yes how far apart from chelator? For my son, first day. Dana
Guest guest
Odysseus, We've all been there! Don't be scared--just go low and slow. As far as the minerals issue, we've always given minerals on the on days and tried to separate them from the chelators a little. But since we are giving minerals throughout the day, it can't be hours and hours apart. We've used Grapefruit Seed Extract or Oil of Oregano on chelating days. Yes, I think you can separate the vits. etc. by a half an hour. We never worried about the empty stomach thing. We just gave it when the timer went off. Yeast can appear anytime--but some cycles you don't see it much and other cycles you do--so just treat it whenever things seem suspicious. I remember watching my son like a hawk the first round. But he was fine and thanks me repeatedly for chelating him. Just remember that you are taking POISON out of his body. Barb [ ] 1st DAY CHELATION WITH ORAL DMPS-SOME QUESTIONS-ANDY-DANA? Dear Listmates today I started chelation on my 7 year old 30kilo son with oral dmps.I am using Andy's protocol. i started with 15mg every 8 hours.I do have some important questions: 1.How far apart from chelator I should supplement minerals? 2.Can I use an antifungal like diflucan or amphotericin B during the on days? 3.If yes how far apart from chelator? 4.Probiotics,vitamins,cod liver oil....can be given within 1/2 hour after chelator? 5.Does the chelator should be given on empty stomach? 6.If yeast or gut bugs appear ,when do they normally appear,1st,2nd or 3rd day. Thanks for your support and I must say this has been a stressfull day for me since I am doing this for the first time and I am very scared. Wish me luck and i pray for all of our children to get well and a big thanks to Andy for supporting us through the hard times. Guest guest
Barb, your son thanks you repeatedly for chelating him? That must be very gratifying. He seems very functional. --- jromkema <jromkema@...> wrote: > > I remember watching my son like a hawk the > first round. Guest guest
Forgive me if this is a repeat for many of you. I'm a longtimer on this list--about six years now--and my son turns 26 this week. He got a double-whammy from the vaccines, both the typical " autie " symptoms and mild cerebral palsy (which his doc says is linked to high aluminum early in life). He has done about every therapy out there as we have been searching for the state-of-the-art stuff since he was an infant. He started biomedical interventions in the fall of 2000. However, he is a college student now (takes two classes a semester, since he types out all of his papers and tests on a computer using one finger) so we have gone pretty slowly with the chelating. It's not fair to pull mercury out of his brain when he has to write a big paper!!! Inside, he's definitely 26. Outside, he appears much younger to those who don't know him. However, his speech is increasing as are many, many other areas. He's told us that everything hurt--his joints, his eyes, his stomach, you name it--and that chelating has taken away most of that pain. Keep in mind that most of his " talking " is done on the computer. He can write an in-depth analysis of some Shakespearean play on his computer, but has difficulty with everyday conversation. That's why I always tell other parents that you CANNOT sell these kids short. My son was like a tape player, recording everything going on around him even as he seemed oblivious. Now he takes place in lively class discussions--albeit a little behind since he can only type so fast--but definitely enjoying adding his input! He does have an aide with him to help him with notetaking and behavioral stuff. By the way, his book of poetry is available on amazon.com. " Embracing the Sky " was written for parents of young kids because he knows how it feels on the inside. The book was published in London several years ago. Do I sound like a proud mama??? Yet, we still have many hurdles to cross . . . Barb Re: [ ] 1st DAY CHELATION WITH ORAL DMPS-SOME QUESTIONS-ANDY-DANA? Barb, your son thanks you repeatedly for chelating him?
