Guest guest
http://www.nvic.org/calc.htm This is the calculator that we have used. Make sure to click reset after you are done with each vaccine or it won't work right. You need the weight he was at the time of the shot. As far as titiers, I don't know. I'm not vaccinating any more. Hoping my children can get the mumps from Iowa and we don't worry about it anymore. There are forms you can sign for your state when they go to school so you don't have to have the vaccinations, if that is what you want. They are for religious or philisophical excemptions. ---- cathy_siri <cathy_siri@...> wrote:

Guest guest
Titers are a good way to go if you can't just get an exemption. That way you don't have to through the hassle of a blood draw. It is said that 95% are still immune and the 5% that isn't is usually those that won't take immunity. Religious exemptions are easy to get here in FL. It should be just a single blood draw. It may very well depend on the lab situation you have but your peds should be able to call the lab and get specific information to correctly order the titers. You may also be able to call a local lab and get the information for your peds. Definitely a good decision in not giving anymore shots. As long as I am breathing my kids aren't ever getting anymore vaccines. Can't help with the calculator other than what others have said. I haven't added it up for my son, not sure I am ready yet. He was born December 1999. Didn't get birth Hep B, started that with others at 2 months. Little chance he got any without the usual Hg. Good luck! jromkema <jromkema@...> wrote: Try the www.nvic.org [ ] tracking vaccine lot # - and titer testing info ? > Hello - > > This is a two part inquery and I am hoping that someone will please > be able to direct me. > > 1. Guest guest
, Why don't you just quietly take the school card down to the court house, get it notarized, fill in the exemption[religious], and hand it in without comment with all the other paperwork?? Most districts just care about having the paperwork up to date. It was the 6 yr booster that sent our child into a decline from which she has not recovered-only dt and polio in those days. > Try the www.nvic.org > > [ ] tracking vaccine lot # - and titer testing info ? > > > > Hello - > > > > This is a two part inquery and I am hoping that someone will please > > be able to direct me. > > > > 1.
