urine tests differ

We are on td-dmps. My son is 10 yrs old. when we do urine and hair

tests, his hair shows more mercury being excreted than the urine. The

odd thing is that the amount differes every few months. For instance,

one month we take the urine and hair to the lab, the metals are high,

but a few months later, the amount excreted is much lower, than

another few months after that, the metals are back up again. Why could

that be happening?
