Guest guest
please get back on topic of LDN, I still haven't seen a true reply to her question yet, imo as with other surgeries, stop the ldn the night before and if opiate drugs will be taken after the procedure as well, avoid ldn until they are stopped, for 2 weeks after any opiates are taken, the abortion topic should be taken elsewhere though good luck to you whatever your decision as it is a very difficult one. Guest guest
Nasti, As you have seen, you will not be judged here. We can all empathize with you and will keep you in our thoughts. You are in a difficult situation. I know that I could not take care of a baby in my condition. You do what is right for you. It may be different if you were well. I am so proud of everyone for supporting Nasti. Marcie surffcity <surffcity@...> wrote: -Nasti,Do think hard about it. Getting pregnant is not always advisable when one has MS. Guest guest
My MS symptoms were mild and very occasional.. like.. one week every 3 years.. until I had my last baby.. (now 2).. I've had MS symptoms every day since. And my dr thinks the pregnancy may have advanced my MS from RRMS to SPMS. Just something else to think about. Although, it's my understanding that just the end of any pregnancy can aggrivate ms symptoms.. the pregnancy doesn't have to go to term, or even to the 2nd trimester to effect ms. Also, I had no ms symptoms at all while I was pregnant. hth, Yvette s
Guest guest
2 weeks? If I go for a hernia op, I may skip 1 or 2 doses, THAT'S IT. I think 2 weeks would KILL me, where'd you get that from other than thin air? Actually, I don't think I'd stop LDN even if I was given opiates, unless I was still in dire pain.
