Guest guest
Hi group! I am new here, I am a proud mother of a 16 month old (14 months adjusted) son. We recently had him evaluated for his developmental delays and were told that in about 3 to 4 months to have him evaluated for Autism since he is too young right now. What is a good age to be tested/evaluated for Aspergers and Autism? Someone once told me that you can have a typical active child then when they hit 18 months old they could change, the loveable child you once had could just become this distant human being. I don't know if that is true. Dawn (Mom to Cole, Cole was born 7 weeks early. Has a rare craniofacial syndrome called Crouzon-Pfeiffer Syndrome. Born with craniosynostosis. Mild ventricularmagoly, watching for signs of Hydrocephalus and if that occurs then a shunt will be needed. Cole is on track with gross motor skills, at a 9 to 10 month level for language skills, and at a 12 month level for fine motor skills)
