Guest guest
Hi all: My son was diagnosed with AS - on his third round of neuropsych evaluations. Previous 2 were ADHD-combined type; which does explain the inattention and impulsivity but not zebras, NASCAR/CARS//Polar Express focus and his dang memory for everything! Oh yeah, sensory seeking behaviors. He's " ranked " mild to moderate because of early (12months-present) therapy for other issues, his daycare/school environment and of course Mom's kinda neurotic about having answers to problems. He tests at high IQ end of spectrum, delayed gross motor and age appropriate fine motor and speech. I have finally been validated! He may still have seizures and muscle issues unrealted to AS, but hey one puzzle solved, few more to go. -Ann ( & Grant in Minneapolis)
