Guest guest Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 got up this morning, curled up in bed with me, sucking on a sippie cup. He takes it out of his mouth just long enough to answer me after I say, " I love you, . " He swallows, and looks at me and says, " I LOVE you TOO Mama! " and pats my cheek. Then he sucks on the sippie a little more. After a few seconds, he takes it out of his mouth again, saying, " Go school missrobin missjoann? " (combining the miss + their name so it sounds like one word). I told him yes, he'd be going to see Miss Robin and Miss Jo Ann today, when the school bus came to get him. He replies, " Oh YES, the school bus go to school missrobin missjoann!!! " Grinning really big. I hope that the eligibility meeting goes well this Friday, after the end of the 6 week Diagnostic Teaching. I'm not liking the idea of telling him next Monday that he isn't going to school if they say he is not eligible for services. It is becoming so important to him, and makes him so happy. He is talking more, telling us new things, answering questions better, and sleeping better at night. It is an important part of our lives right now, and it makes me sad to think of him losing such a big part of his week. Now he is in his bedroom, marveling over 's little dress shoes she is wearing, and they are playing with his toys together! Hope everyone is having a good Monday so far! Laramy Quote
