Guest guest
I think yeast causes hunger all the time. Zinc can also help with appetite issues. HTH Prue

Anyway, how do you all > deal with this? This is so hard. It is a drag, I hate it too. One thing that happens here is usually we can find something he really likes that he can eat a LOT of. For a while that was pears with peanut butter. I do try to offer plenty of different safe foods and occasionally he will fill up on it even if if's not his favorite. He could do that now with proteins but he's just not a big meat eater. I don't think this has anything to do with craving carbs because of yeast. His twin sister who is not on the spectrum and is " typical " doesn't like meats much either and neither do their cousins who are about the same age. Hi Theresa Lots of little kids don't like meat because it is difficult to chew. Could you try giving him ground up meat? Hamburgers and ground up chicken made into a loaf or nuggets or something. My son hates chewing meat (he's almost 7) but he will eat meat if it is easy to chew. Are you using enzymes yet? Abby
