I don't think there is something specific for hand-flapping, but it

can be one of those stims in the general that is helped by improved

digestion and nutrition. My older son rocks, or would bang his head.

He improved with Peptizyde as well as a med for head pain.

You can also consider if there is a visual thing going on. Maybe

peripheral vision. Hopefully someone else can comment on this.

My daughter couldn't see and used a lot of peripheral vision, has

glasses now and has been through vision therapy to help the eyes work

together. She hasn't done the hand flapping. For some it may be

related to eyes. I think for some it might be a sensory issue. My

daughter does the opposite and is always tensing her muscles. I

haven't found information on hand flapping or tensing muscles. My

daughter has greatly reduced the tensing at times which makes me

belive there is a viral, yeast, immune or something wrong that I

continue to look for. I hope you find the answers for your situation.

Best Wishes

Becky

My son's flapping went away with anti-virals, then came back a few

weeks later. Then it went away with B6, then came back a few weeks

later. Now it seems to come back when I need to remove a supplement

he no longer needs.
