Putting a drop or two in lemonade or orange juice is usually the best way to cover the taste. > If not, what form does Oil of oregano come in (i'm assuming liquid)? > Does it have the same awful taste? In my opinion, liquid oil of oregano tastes worse. GSE does come as a tablet, which does not taste as bad but it also is not as effective. In my opinion, liquid oil of oregano tastes worse. I have used Oil of Oregano....and it is pretty nasty....it makes the room even smell like pizza!! If your son can tolerate tomato products, you might try mixing with ketsup, or pasta sauce...sort of like eating pizza then. My son actually will take it in applesauce (gag) but then " chases " it with his favorite drink. HTH, Kim
Guest guest
I can put drops of either of these into my son's liquid vitamins and he takes them without comment. If I have to give GSE to my daughters, I put it in Ocean Spray Ruby Grapefruit juice, which hides it well. I give biocidin, which tastes nasty and contains oil of oregano, and haven't found a great way to hide it yet, but I'm thinking strong-flavored juices (V8 splash or grape juice, if tolerated) or maybe in ketchup or tomato juice if child likes those? Guest guest
My son only drinks heavily diluted pear juice or rice milk so we really struggled to hide GSE. Finally we had luck by putting it in his diluted juice and adding a drop of liquid stevia. He did not notice it. HTH. Mandy (Australia) > Hi, > I have the GSE drops and they are awful tasting. Guest guest
We put the drops into empty Houston enzyme capsules. How do you give GSE? > Hi, > I have the GSE drops and they are awful tasting.
