Guest guest
Hi, I have been exploring all biomedical interventions to help my son, whom I believe will get his aspergers diagnosis next friday when we meet with his ped. neurologist. He is obsessed with videos, scripts them often !!!!! He is also socially withdrawn...what I mean, is that if there are a lot if neighbors outside, he prefers to go in the house and either play alone or watch a video, go figure! However, he has great eye contact and loves his sisters, plays with them a lot. I am now looking into enzymes, and wonder which one to start with? He has not been on any diet so far, his peptides for the GFCF diet were normal although I notice that he gets pretty wired from sugar and glutens. He does not crave any dairy/gluten items that I know of, but LOVES juice. So, can enzymes really help? Which one to start with? Can they help with him being more sociable? Help him to stop scripting videos? Any advice would be appreciated! Kim

Help him to stop scripting videos? Start with reading the files section of this list. You can certainly try them, they can't hurt and may make a big difference. Also, go to this website for more info http://216.114.78.114/webcenter/sites/hni/ This website explains which one, why and when, and order info. Also, look through Dana's website....it's got gobs of info on everything!! http://www.danasview.net/ HTH, Kim

For my son, social came with anti-virals. >>Help him to stop scripting > videos? For my son, enzymes actually helped him to have language in the first place. But then, he did START scripting videos. I am currently still experimenting with this, but it does appear that B12 helps. Too little B12 and the scripting starts. Too much B12 and other problems start, especially if I don't give it with folic acid. So I am trying to find the right amount of B12 for him.
