n reacts terribly to corn (stomach aches, behavior) but I've been

putting a smidgen of glutamine in his vitamins lately to good effect. Wheat

seems to

be OK if it's not eaten every day, and oats are fine, so maybe it's not the

gluten in corn that's the problem. So maybe not a very helpful answer!

My son also reacts to corn and it appears to be the husk, not the

interior. He can eat things containing cornflour with no trouble, but

anything like whole-grain cornflakes, maize pancakes or - oh unthinkable

- corn on the cob, has him with stomach cramps and diarrhoea within

minutes and for forty eight hours following.

He has only been tested for IgE reactions, with everything coming up

negative. All the food reactions I've figured out through trial and error.

Nell,

I'm curious to know if n was IGG tested for corn and if that problem showed

up?
