Guest guest
Hi , Give your child plenty of water ahead of time so the blood will flow fast and easy. Tell them to use the numbing cream on his arm 20 mins beforehand to minimize pain.Know your questions and do your research so you know enough to determine if they are telling you the appropiate information. If you don't understand why they want to give something ask why.Good Luck! Guest guest
Hi, I am very interested in taking my son to Pfeiffer also. Can anyone elaborate on their experience? I have heard that the protocol is a lot for the child to take, and can sometimes be difficult to administer so many things. I have a picky eater, and texture sensitive 25 mos. old that concerns me having to add more things to ingest. Though we do seem to manage his already extensive supplements. What type of results have you seen? Cost factors? TIA! -- In , " & Jack Rawlings " <jamaraw@c...> wrote: > Hi , > Give your child plenty of water ahead of time so the blood will flow fast > and easy. Guest guest
, IMO they didn't do anything I wasn't already doing but they upped the dosages. They told me not to give folic acid and my son now has a folic acid deficiency which can disrupt many pathways.I think following what Andy Cutler states in the autism treatment files can save you tons of money. The initial testing cost me around 1700.00 ! They have not followed up the way they should have and the nurses can never answer my questions....all to the tune of over 100.00 a consult(I think its 175.00)If anything goes wrong with your child they will not help you but tell you to go to your pediatrician.Yes my son is recovered but only because of all my endless hours of research and hard work. Guest guest
, Thank you so much for sharing! I am finding that I am certainly my son's best advocate for treatment, but I get so frustrated with the endless research. I just need to take a breath and organize my tests, and move forward from there. I do have one Dr here in Austin, TX that I like who handles his supps. and testing, I just don't find his plan very individualized to our needs, so I am constantly reseeking his advice on our next step! I doubt sometimes that I am capable of managing his health on my own, and yet, we are making acceptable progress...so maybe I am better than I thought...lol! Thanks for your input, this is a great resource - In , " & Jack Rawlings " <jamaraw@c...> wrote: > , > IMO they didn't do anything I wasn't already doing but they upped the > dosages. They told me not to give folic acid and my son now has a folic acid > deficiency which can disrupt many pathways.I think following what Andy > Cutler states in the autism treatment files can save you tons of money. The > initial testing cost me around 1700.00 !
