Guest guest
ProBio Gold says to take at the start of a meal, so I assume it would be best taken with food. Since the capsules are suppose to be refridgerated, I will also assume that putting them on hot food would kill the good stuff. Will your child eat peanut butter? That's another way to get sups in, mix them in peanut butter on a spoon, or on bread.
Guest guest
Hi Diane, I'm new to all this so if there's any reason not to do it this way, I'd appreciate knowing too. I use a straw and suck a small piece out of the center of a small piece of banana. I sprinkle the supp. into the hole and then blow the piece of banana out of the straw and insert it back into the banana. A little smoothing over with my finger and you can't tell anything is different. I put it on my son's plate with his meal and its always the first thing he grabs and eats. The mistake I made the first time around was giving him the whole banana and instead of sticking it in his mouth he took a bite and bit halfway into the supp. which he then didn't want to finish. I waited a couple days and tried again with just cut up pieces of banana, one of which had the supp. and it was working again. (Ben's 5). Anyway, hope that helps. Good luck. Guest guest
We administer on a relativly empty stomach. I started shoving capsules and pills into yogurt and cocoa soy pudding, essentially hiding them. My son eventually figured out there was a pill inside, but because the thickness of spoonfuls eased the capsule down, he didn't fight.
