One of my kids would chew on things if he had eaten a food or

supplement he did not tolerate, or if he had a yeast issue. This

might be the adjustment period with the enzyme, but if it continues

for more than about 3 weeks, he might not tolerate the enzyme, or he

might not tolerate a food he is still eating even with the enzyme.

Dana,

He had nothing new yesterday morning except the new enzyme. He ate

GFCF pancakes with pure maple syrup and had his usual meds &

supplements with filtered water. He has NEVER chewed on pencils

before. The behavior jumped right out at me the second he did it.

(He is Asperger's by the way.) I'll keep Zyme Prime at the same

dosage for a while and see what happens.

Also, why does it take 3-4 hours for something to be posted on this list?

Sounds good.

[if this is the old formula with the papain/bromelain, and you don't

already use Peptizyde, consider using the new formula Zyme Prime

without the papain/bromelain.]

Depends on the server, how much traffic is coming thru at any one

time, and whether there is a spam/virus issue. Some days are like

that, others not.

I started Peptizyde first. I just added Zyme Prime. Yes, this bottle

does contain papain and bromelain. I didn't know there was an " old "

formula. I just got my order.

There just seems to be a greater lag time on the Enzyme list than on

the GFCFKids list. I've never had to wait hours for a reply on that one.

Because HNI decided not to discontinue it [some children do better

with the " old " formula, so now they will have both], I suppose I

should start calling it the " original " formula.

Anyway, if you use Peptizyde without problems, then you *should* be

okay with the original Zyme Prime.

I thought you were concerned about how long it took your message to

post to the forum. Now it seems that you are concerned about how long

it takes for a reply. That would depend not only on the server,

but who is online at the time that might have a reply for you. I am

usually only online in the morning, altho on Sunday afternoon I can

usually sneak on for a while.
