I prefer capsules. they are quite big but this means easy to handle, twist

the two parts f the cap apart and easy to fit back togther. :)

If I am not mistaken there is only SCD powder form but capsuls you

can choose SCD (with MCT) or non-scd (with rice bran). So this is one

more question you have to consider. I can remember someone wrote that

SCD-version probably is more preferrable unless there is no

intolerance to MCT. It has something to do with anti-bacterial/anty-

yeast properties of MCT. Could anyone correct me if I am wrong.

For my son switching to SCD version of ZP took additional 2 weeks of

adjusting though following switching to SCD version of No-fenol gave

no trouble at all. Probably it did make something good?

In other respect you will have less hassle with capsuls though powder

form would be a bit cheaper.

For my son it is much easier to take enzymes dissolved in a very

small amount of water or juice (<1tbsp) - takes just one swallow.

He is exactly of the same age :)

Hey there Nikitas mom

? What is MCT? :)

And, I read on 's site that the only SCD legal enzymes are...

Ultra-zyme Plus by Thropps Nutrition

Digest Gold by Enzymedica.

Any experience with these two?

But too be honest... We are absolutely 100% strict as to what he

ingests, preparation, etc. But... I can only take the " legal " bit

only so far... e.g., probiotics... " legal " - prior to goat milk

yogurt is only 3 billion cells of only lactobacillicus

acidopholus... Every other source says 20 billion cells + of a broad

spectrum... And, Elaine is dead set against bifidus... but it

should be the good guy of the large intestine? So... we're not

listening to this piece of advice... So, we have the " legal "

probiotic from Kirkman, I give him 6 pills a day, throughout the

day... (18 billion) and 1 pill of Kirkman's bifodus product at 7.5

billion cells. My plan is to use these up (I bought 3 bottles of

the " legal " probiotic) then move to Klaire's Therabiotic complete.

We are also going to do goat yogurt as soon as we get the machine...

one day yogurt, the next day probiotics... as the yogurt and

probiotics are not the same... and I want to populate his gut with a

broad spectrum of the good guys.

Excellent... how long were you SCD? Is he SCD now? How long

enzymes? What is his diet now? What are you doing for probiotics?

My fantasy... fly through stages of SCD, then GFCF, then gluten &

casein... here we come.

The past 3 months on the SCD really has been wonderful... as I'm

convinced that the yeast and bacteria are largely gone as my sons

poops are amazing now... " toddler's diareah " be gone! But, variety

is the slice of life and what says about variety and nutrients

in foods makes so much sense.
