Guest guest
HI Lee Anne! >>>We tried Digest Rite and didn't seem to notice anything different. How many capsules are 1 serving of Digest Rite and how much were you giving? (Just trying to get a baseline idea) >>>>Can someone offer me a beginning " protocol " for trying these? There isn't any one right way. In fact I started right off with a full capsule of Peptizyde with no problems. But the way that is most conservative and minimizes adjustment effects is as follows: Start with Zyme Prime (broad-spectrum) Give 1/2 capsule at a couple meals for a couple days. If all goes well, up to 1 full capsule at all meals for a couple days. Give at snacks if you like. If all goes well, add in Peptizyde (strong protease) at 1/2 capsule at a couple meals for a couple days. If all goes well, increase to 1 full capsule of Peptizyde at all meals for a few days. If all goes well and you want to add in a specialty product such as No-Fenol, add 1/4 capsule at a couple meals for a couple days. ....and so on. The idea is to gradually increase the dose with one product and then add in a second in the same way, then another. If at any time the child seems to need more adjustment, just stick at that dose for a day or so until it resolves. Note that adjustments (die-off and tissue healing) might be greater and need more time with Peptizyde and No-Fenol. By breaking out the proteases separately, you can dose those individually without having to give up the healing and digestive power of all the other enzymes. Hopefully you can see there is some 'play' in this and it isn't an exact schedule. Just what works out best for you and your child. Gut healing might go faster if you give some enzymes with snacks, rice milk, etc as well. .
Guest guest
, If I wanted to introduce candex into the scheme of the enzyme schedule you outlined, where/when would you suggest and how? Many thanks Suzanne > HI Lee Anne! > > >>>We tried Digest Rite and didn't seem to notice anything different. > > How many capsules are 1 serving of Digest Rite and how much were you > giving? Guest guest
> Basically, she drinks rice milk from a bottle (I can get any > supplement/medication into her this way). Zyme Prime. Most supplements/medications required No-Fenol for my son. Other than the rice milk > she will eat peanut butter and honey or jelly No-Fenol and Zyme Prime [my son would have needed both for those foods]. sandwiches on whole > wheat bread, Peptizyde. >>pizza from a pizza parlor, All three. >>french toast and pancakes. Peptizyde. Syrup would have required No-Fenol. > She also likes Cheerios, goldfish and pretzles. Peptizyde. Goldfish would have also required No-Fenol. >> She will eat a banana > on occasion and sometimse drink orange juice. No-Fenol. > I would like to know which enzyme to try with her first and at what > amounts. I would start with Zyme Prime or No-Fenol. Start with 1/4 to 1/2 capsule, gradually work up. Good luck. Guest guest
I recently used Candex myself and loved it. However, I understand their timing recommendations need to be adhered to. They say two caps one hour before breakfast, two caps two hours after dinner, for an adult with a yeast flare.
