Terri,

How long is a reasonable time for someone to see results from

Instestimend? Is this something you might see improvement with say,

after 1 week? or would a couple months be more appropriate?

I'm not Terri but wanted to share my family's experience with this product.

My son and I tried this but weren't able to tolerate something in the product.

My son only tried it once but it caused behavior changes. I used it for two

weeks and it seemed to help with digestive function but I had an allergic

reaction and started wheezing which stopped when I discontinued it. We seem to

have problems with almost everything so our experience would not be typical for

most other people. My brother-in-law has had terrible digestive problems for

years. He was bleeding rectally. Not spotting, but bleeding. Within two

days of using intestimend, his bleeding stopped and he's been doing great for

the last couple months. Enzymes, probiotics, etc... nothing else worked but

this product.

We have used this product for absoloutely ages. My son experienced some

sort of die off symptoms so we had to introduce it very slowly at only half a

ml

increase. He now takes 22mls a day and we refer to it as his 'sort him out'

drink. Often he is not sparking quite as he should first thing in the

morning but once he has had his drink it seems to clear him of whatever has

built

up in his system.

Don't know how Terri from Brainchild would describe it but this is our non

official description.

I love your description, ! Intestimend is a sulfur-rich formula of

glucosamine, chondroitan, MSM, NAC and a few other things, designed to help

sulfate the gut lining (GAG's), and it also contains slippery elm for

soothing the inflamed intestinal tissues. So it's used for intestinal

support, sulfation support, inflammation-calming, things like that. I'm

guessing why it helps 'sort out' 's child is by pretty rapidly

calming some inflammation in his gut. We have some customers who use it as

a 'rescue' formula to calm things down if their children have a dietary

infraction, and others who give it daily or on a pulsed (on-and-off)

schedule to help with leaky gut. It's a sweet, mild-tasting liquid, with a

slight herb taste - most kids like it quite well. My son, a classic leaky

gut kid who doesn't respond much to diet or enzymes, takes about 1.5

ounces a day of it along with his liquid vitamins and minerals, and we like

it a lot too.
