Guest guest
Well, I'll tell you how I handle this issue: I don't use GSE for very long, and I rotate it with other things that are known for kicking out bacteria too. Here's my usual rotation these days: 4 days of just GSE, then 4 days of just Biocidin (by Bio-botanical research) - this tincture is good against yeast, bacteria, parasites, then 4 days of just Uva-Ursi (this is a singular herb that helps against yeast, then if I think he still has bugs, I start over again with GSE. This has the advantage of not letting the yeast get resistant to any one of these (this is the problem with using the same yeast-killers all the time), and also helping kick any bacteria that is flaring up. I've found this approach VERY successful for us for over 2 yrs. now. I also use Theralac and Primal Defense probiotics all the time. You could substitute other yeast killers for some of the above if your child doesn't tolerate them. Some of them are phenolic (this isn't an issue for my guy). Guest guest
The biocidin Terri is talking about is from here - there are two type orginal and advanced. I prefer orginal (heavy on the garlic) the advanced is heavy on the oregano _www.biobotanicalresearch.com_ (http://www.biobotanicalresearch.com) don't know about the Uva Ursi but I rember terri gets some stuff from here _www.modernherbalist.com_ (http://www.modernherbalist.com) I have used both suppliers - good service even here to the UK Mandi in UK Where can we buy the Uva-Ursi and also Biocidin? Guest guest
Buddy, I'm not Teri or , but to try to answer a few of your questions: 1) is using MB12 injections. These require a doc prescription. If you have a doc who is helping you, they are very easy to order. I can give you more info if you want to e-mail me privately. If you don't have a doc, you can try sublingual B12. I've never used it, but I have a link or two that gives products you can try. 2) I used an uva ursi by Nature's Way. It was effective inconvenient to mix in juice. If you're son doesn't swallow caps, I think Teri uses a liquid uva ursi by Gaia? I've found it before through google and have been meaning to order some. It sounds very convenient for my son. 3) Biocidin is by Bio-Botanical Research. I just ordered their ProFlora probiotic. They have been wonderful on the phone, lots of guidance and encouragement. We started the ProFlora a few days ago. So far, so good. I've also wanted to try the Biocidin and am now kicking myself that I didn't just order it when I got the ProFlora.
