Guest guest
Marie, Just wanted to know how it was going. You were asking about which Houston enzyme product to start with a couple days ago. Any order is fine actually, depending on your preference. The Peptizyde greatly reduced my older son's sensory problems. The sensory issues went from being debilitating to just strong person preferences. He didn't have a total meltdown anymore...he could just say " this is too loud " " this is too bright " " these clothes are too scratchy " and other things. And then he could wait while changes were made without totally loosing a grip. I am interested if the AFP Peptizyde helped your son with sensory issues in the same way. My other son seemed to get a bigger response from the Zyme Prime and later, the No-Fenol. He had eating and colon problems. .
Guest guest
THANK YOU everyone for responding I did follow the advice given. We started as of Friday & I've been giving about 1/2-3/4 capsule/day. What I do is this : He likes to have the little yagurt bottles(the name escaped me right now). When he wants it, I open the capsule & put a bit in there for him. I've also been puting it in his sippy cup with apple juice(1/2 water 1/2 juice). By the end of the day he's been getting approx a 1/2 to 3/4 of a capsule of AFP PEP. I'm watching to see if anything changes. in reading your post, it really gives me hope that things will def. get better Thanks I also have the zyme prime & no-fenol but have not started to give them yet. Any ideas on when I should start, or what I should watch for to see if I even need to give them? Thanks Ladies!!! You're AWESOME LOL!! Marie > > Marie, > > Just wanted to know how it was going. Guest guest
Well I started the enzymes 10 days ago. & so far no improvement yets. We started with just about 1/2-3/4 capsule/day of AFP PEP, but after 6 days he started having loose stools, so I added the Zyme Prime thinking it would firm him up. Well he did not have a BM the next day (thurs), & was ok the following day but the loose stool started again as of yesterday (saturday). Now I must say that he's also been coughing, so he does have a cold of some sorts, so I'm not sure if the loose BM is from the cough or the enzymes. Is there something else I should be doing to help him firm up? He didn't ever have a problem with loose stools before enzymes, so I'm a bit confused. He was sent home on wed. because of them (That;s when they started). He now gets 3/4 capsule of AFP PEP & 3/4 capsule of Zyme prime now. 1 more thing - when do I know if there is a yeast or bacteria problem? Thanks in advance, Marie > > > > Marie, > > > > Just wanted to know how it was going. You were asking about which > > Houston enzyme product to start with a couple days ago. If you are using the AFP Pep to avoid papain/bromelain, then be sure you are using SCD Zyme Prime. Well he did not have a BM the next day > (thurs), & was ok the following day but the loose stool started again > as of yesterday (saturday). Might be foods he is still eating, that are causing that problem. Consider adding No-Fenol, or rotating foods to find what might be affecting him. Can also be the cold he has, or a few other things. > 1 more thing - when do I know if there is a yeast or bacteria problem?
