Guest guest
Would there be any interest in doing a trial testing how enzyme therapy impacts detoxification in general, including heavy metal removal? We could use the standard hair tests (I guess that is what is considered the most reliable...any comments on stools or urine or blood tests?) or whatever else is considered reliable. Participants would need to run a test in the beginning, use enzymes for a couple months, then run another test, continue with enzymes for a couple more months, and then run another test. I think going through 6 months would be ideal, but will work with what is management. You wouldn't have to stop anything else you are currently doing except for any specific chelation or metal detox measures. That is so the results would be how enzymes effect metal detox/removal and not other things. Participants would need to be anyone NOT doing some other chelation/detox program. If you did something in the past but stopped and are not doing it now, that would be fine. This would be good for someone starting enzymes and not planning on doing any other chelation or detox program for some time, or not sure what type of chelation/detox program they might do, or if they will do one at all. I am just polling to see if there is interest at the moment. There is a lot of circumstantial and anecdotal information out there enzymes do help in this area, but so far not anything formally done to specifically look at it. Any other thoughts are welcome. . Guest guest
, How expensive are the hair tests? What constitutes other chelation protocol. We are using glutathione cream and cream for adrenal help. That is really all other than some liver support and lots and lots of enzymes. Need to know if there is interest in new trial (involves hair tests) Would there be any interest in doing a trial testing how enzyme therapy impacts detoxification in general, including heavy metal removal? Guest guest
I don't know if we would qualify but I'm interested. We tried enzymes whole hog for five weeks and never got over the negatives so I dropped back considerably. DS is just getting half caps of AFP pep and prime zyme morning and evening now. The first week we dropped back was perfect--he had no issues at all. I'm trying to figure out how to get that back. We recently sent a hair test into DD. (It's 46 without the doctor's fee, but we'll prob. have a follow-up consult). We have also been doing FIR sauna the past five weeks, coinciding with that first week on the lower dose. Over the summer I'll try to up the enzymes at least a little and maybe try a yeast protocol to see if that helps. What are some of the theories for how enzymes help detox? We plan to do hair tests every four mos or so. I can post them if you like. With the sauna it wouldn't be a clear case, but it might be informative. We aren't planning to use a chelator like DMPS or anything.
Guest guest
Does treating with homeopathy disqualify you from this trial? Aileen
Guest guest
- I would be interested in participating in the trial, if we meet the criteria. Just let us know what needs to be done and when. Thanks for all you do! Lori Getz
Guest guest
~ Are you looking for members who don't currently use Enzymes?? We have been using all three Houston Enzymes since January. No other detox program. Let me know if we qualify. Thanks, ~ > Would there be any interest in doing a trial testing how enzyme therapy > impacts detoxification in general, including heavy metal removal? Guest guest
I am new to the list this week, but would be interested if we qualified. I ordered the enzymes and plan to start them as soon as I get them, so not sure if that will work. Guest guest
Amy If I may ask, what were you using for chelation and what exactly were you seeing that prompted you to stop? Thanks much Rose I have > stopped chelation for my son for now due to massive unbearable side > effects and my daughter has never been tested/chelated. > Amy > >
